I had the opportunity to photograph Haley and Brianna’s wedding day at Cross & Orange restaurant in Asbury Park, New Jersey. From their first look on the boardwalk with their entire wedding party to the multitude of unique photo locations around town, it was an unforgettable day for everyone involved.
The First Look
The most memorable moment from Haley and Brianna’s wedding day happened just before the ceremony, when they had their first look on the Asbury Park boardwalk. It was an emotional scene as they both saw each other for the first time that day surrounded by their closest friends and family. After capturing some stunning photos of them together on the beach we moved on to our next photo location.
Unique Photo Locations
One of my favorite things about photographing weddings in Asbury Park is that there are so many unique photo opportunities in one small area. We were able to capture some amazing photos at Cookman Avenue, Convention Hall, Sunset Pavilion, and many of the creative murals on the boardwalk! Each location provided us with beautiful backgrounds for some truly unique photos.
A Perfectly Flowing Reception
To top off an already perfect day, Haley and Brianna had opted for a cocktail hour style dinner reception which gave us plenty of time to get more great shots after they said “I do”! This also allowed everyone to enjoy their meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by a traditional three-course feast. The evening ended with lots of dancing and fun as everyone celebrated this newly married couple!
